In my experience, the small-step approach works best. Making one change and get used to it before making another one does miracles - while turning our life upside down overnight - seems to scare us away into slipping very quickly back to the old habits, no matter how bad they might be.

Okay, I'm starting the deep belly breaths - it's such a simple way to get started on reducing stress and feeling better :)

I love those deep breaths but they make me realize how big my belly is ;) I really do use them and they calm me down a lot.
